What Is Your Postpartum Plan?
I absolutely love being a Postpartum Doula, but the one thing that has always bothered me is that in our society we don’t have a clear path to postpartum recovery. Many new families are so overwhelmed with planning the birth, managing new expenses, work time off and the new changes a pregnancy brings that postpartum feel far away. I totally get that!

Great Question! I can offer you support in many forms- worksheets, workshops, in-person support and virtual support. It all depends on your needs and your budget.

Topics you will find addressed are: what to expect, when to call the Doctor, how to manage your healing and sleep. It includes planning worksheets, mood tracker, diaper and feeding tracker and a checklist of postpartum needs and more!
Recover, Rest, Reset.
Your postpartum time should be a time of resting, recovery, and resetting life to a new normal rhythm. The type of support I offer is unique in that it is a program I call R.E.S.T. During each shift, I will offer:
-
The postpartum period is a whirlwind of emotions and changes. After the arrival of your little one, you’ll likely experience significant hormonal shifts, physical discomfort from healing, and the new challenge of caring for a baby who demands constant attention. It’s no surprise that this can weigh heavily on a new parent's mental health. In fact, about 1 in 7 new parents may face postpartum anxiety or depression. That’s why I prioritize mental well-being during this time. I’m here to check in on you and your partner, creating a safe space for you to share your feelings—whether you're riding high on joy one moment or feeling overwhelmed the next. It’s completely normal to experience a mix of emotions! My support is judgment-free; there’s no right or wrong way to feel. If you need extra mental health resources, I'm here to share information about therapy and support groups that can help.
-
We’ve all heard the saying, “sleep like a baby,” but trust me, no adult truly wants that! Babies often sleep in cycles of just 1-2 hours, meaning they wake up frequently for feedings and diaper changes. The first three months can be especially tough as you adjust to this reality, often leaving new parents exhausted. That’s where my night doula support comes in. We will figure out a plan that allows you to maximize your sleep—whether I take on complete overnight care or work around your feeding schedule. Plus, I’ll provide tips on your baby’s sleep needs to help you and your little one rest better.
-
This new parenting adventure comes with a ton of questions: How do I change a diaper? What’s the best way to give my baby a bath? How do I use my breast pump? No question is too small or silly. I will provide the latest evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions as a parent. Even if you’ve done this before, every baby comes with its unique quirks and demands, so don’t hesitate to ask anything. We’re in this together!
-
With my in-person day support, I will guide you through my R.E.S.T Framework. With R.E.S.T we will focus on your Recovery, Establishing Systems, Sleep and Tending. Each shift I will check in with you to see what your priorities are, where I can fill in gaps and be sure you are nourished and well cared for and set you up for future success.
Support that’s an investment in yourself and your family.
